The Great British nature quiz
Know your great crested newts from your natterjack toads? Identify the flora and fauna shown here and you could win one of 10 family days out at the Eden Project
This week we learnt that the nation's children are better at identifying television characters than they are at naming species of flora and fauna.
And though the National Trust survey didn't poll adults, there would be plenty of grown-ups who would also struggle.
To help restore the balance, we're giving away 10 family tickets to the Eden Project in Cornwall, home of the world's largest greenhouses. Each ticket admits two adults and three children.
All you have to do is identify the birds, beasts, plants and trees shown in these 30 pictures. Next to each are three options – only one is correct. Pick the correct one and name it on the entry form .
Winners will be selected at random from the best entries and notified by email.
No purchase necessary. Editor's decision is final. Entries must be received by midday, 25 July 2008. Travel not included.
