The environmentally conscious community now turns its attentions to Ecobuild, March 1-3, in London and the first ever San Francisco Green Film Festival, scheduled for March 3-6. Among the films screening at the California event will be Happy People: A Year in the Taiga, by Russian director Dmitry Vasyukov and internationally acclaimed director Werner Herzog.

A showcase of the latest developments, products and companies in the world of environmentally friendly building. The exhibition attracted over 40,000 visitors in 2009 including the then British secretary of state. Unlike Enertec earlier in the year or Intersolar in June, Ecobuild is focused less on energy sources and more on sustainable construction products that can be added to existing structures.
