For one night only, the world’s most spectacular opera event of 2014, Madama Butterfly on Sydney Harbour will be in selected Cineworld, Odeon, Vue and Showcase cinemas on Thursday 18 September.

A modern retelling of Puccini’s tale of love and honour, Madama Butterfly starring Japanese soprano Hiromi Omura, is performed on a magnificent water stage, suspended over the harbour against a backdrop of the Sydney Opera House and the Harbour Bridge, including a spectacular fireworks display.
