Celebrity West End haunt The Ivy is set to unveil an exclusive new members' bar on 8 September. Created by Martin Brudnizki, the designer behind the glam revamp of Mayfair's Scott's, the bar houses a feature that will no doubt find favour with some Ivy regulars: a rooftop "smoking hole", enabling pap-free puffing for A-listers.

Former Ramsay protégé Gemma Tuley has resurfaced over on the South Bank. After her debut at Big Gord's much-hyped Foxtrot Oscar didn't go quite to plan, she must be hoping for better at her new home, Arch One.
