In space, no one can hear you scream. Or hear you hack off the limbs of your enemies, if this greatbut- gruesome survival shooter is anything to go by.
Dead Space is almost pitch-perfect in its unflinching depiction of what happens when things go really, really wrong on a space station. As truly horrible monsters – necromorphs – run amok, it’s up to you to save yourself by using whatever weapons you can scavenge, with the buzz sawproducing impressively gory results. Bloody and brilliant, this is a shock-a-minute thriller.
