Those for whom an RPG plays too slow, and a straight fighting simulation gives too little scope for development, should give this latest instalment in the Final Fantasy series a try. Square Enix has struck genre-bending perfection, as players level up their characters in traditional Final Fantasy style and engage in more than 20 hours of storymode gameplay. The plot is silly, but there are many extras and the addition of multiplayer makes this one of the most worthwhile recent PSP exclusives.
