Games Review: Flower

PS3, Sony, £6.29

Flower, which has no characters, no bangs and whizzes and very little action to speak of, is an unlikely sounding contender for an evening’s entertainment. But entertaining it is, in a quiet way, with its mix of gentle breezes, dancing blooms and sun-drenched meadows. You play by controlling the wind using the PS3’s Sixaxis motion system and collecting petals. There are a few gentle challenges to face, but on the whole this is one relaxing ride through pastoral loveliness. Glorious.
