After releasing various CookingMama games for theWii, DS and iPhone, Nintendo has decided that Mama deserves some time in the Sun, so instead of chopping and grilling, she’s out in the garden planting, pruning and spraying. It’s vaguely educational about plants and full of the kind of short, punchy minigames (take note, Coraline developers) that made the previous titles so successful with younger gamers. Gardening Mama offers a fresh take on the chores-as-fun genre, and proves that being in the garden is just as enjoyable as cooking.
