Exploding heads and wayward chainsaws don’t sound like they could be pretty, but play Gears of War2 and you’ll be astounded by how attractive they can look and sound.
The audio rocks and it’s as violent as the original Gears of War, but where GoW 2 really excels is in its gameplay. Whether you prefer the co-op campaign mode or the multiplayer, this is the real deal. It’s not easy, and playing the tutorial is recommended for getting up to speed with the cover system, but this just makes it more rewarding.
