Motorbike fans aren’t very well-served by racing games, and the DS is particularly light on biking titles. MotoRacer DS is an arcade-style racer that manages to give gamers a good taste of life on two wheels. It’s tricky to get to grips with initially – the controls are definitely tougher- than-average – and the early races are fairly unexciting, although they give newcomers chance to learn the game’s mechanics. But once you’ve mastered your trusty steed, the range of tracks and the sense of speed the game gives are impressive. The multiplayer options also give Moto Racer DS a turbo boost when playing against friends.
