Games Review: Ninjatown
DS, Southpeak, £24.99
Who knew that ninjas were paid in biscuits? Well, according to the strategy title Ninjatown, that’s what they earn after a hard day battling demons.
And the little warriors are also keen on spending their dough on huts to fortify their home town. This unashamedly sweet fighting title works solidly as a single-player game but is even better when played with pals. Each level offers new ninjas with different skills, and while this plays like a carbon copy of Tower Defense, it’s still a dangerously cute and well-rounded package.
