As football rivalries go, PES vs FIFA has to be up there with Liverpool vs Everton, but fans of the Konami series will have to see this year’s edition as a firm victory over the opposition after the underperformance of the last few editions has been turned around. While the graphics and commentary have undergone only minor updates, it’s the fluidity of play, which comes with new ball dynamics and 360-degree movement, that marks it out from its rivals.
