Vin Diesel might not be setting cinema screens alight with his acting, but Escape from Butcher Bay, the game based on his sci-fi outings in The Chronicles of Riddick films, was a hit. The latest title, Assault on Dark Athena, is a remake of this game, tricked out for next-gen consoles, with an extra helping of multi-player action. But while it’s a valiant attempt to bring a great FPS to a wider audience, there are times when Assault on Dark Athena feels just a little too long in the tooth.
