With real-world tracks featuring Los Angeles, Barcelona and, of all places, Brighton, as far as speed and aggression go, Activision’s new racer Blur plays like a real-world Wipeout on wheels. Car geeks will get their kicks spotting the variety of classic models on show, and nihilists will get theirs blowing them up. For everyone else, the results are a breathless and fastpaced rush of squealing rubber, relentless attack dodging – and repetitive strain injury.
