For Layle, a strange encounter with a mysterious being is the beginning of aworld-spanning, perilous adventure. Just as well, then, that Layle is able to command telekinesis, enabling him to scatter enemies from afar. Once locked on, a swing of the Wii remote will hurl objects; a fun battle mechanic at first but one that proves tiresome. Appealing visuals and an intricate plot make up somewhat for the limited combat, but for those craving that bona-fide Final Fantasy experience on Wii, the wait goes on.
