When the Prince’s older brother unwittingly unleashes the army of King Solomon, it falls to the Prince to leap, climb and hack his way to a solution. To aid him is a Djinn who grants him the power to bound chasms, wield magical attacks and control time. Forgotten Sands has fine aesthetics and somewell-scripted puzzles, but is limited by lifeless combat and a lack of any real “wow” moments. There’s fun to be had, but there are better examples of the adventure genre out there; a prince yes, but one that falls short of being king.
