“Were you ever a bully at school?” asks your psychologist. Whether you confirm or deny will directly influence the nature of the terror lurking in Silent Hill, a town of isolation, monsters and fleeting memories. Following a car crash and the subsequent disappearance of your daughter, you begin to search your surroundings aided solely by a flashlight. When the town suddenly morphs into a labyrinth of ice, replete with pursuing horrors, you only have one choice: run. While exploration is occasionally laborious, there is no denying that Shattered Memories is a fine psychological experience.
