For a hefty dose of dungeon-crawling slash, bang, wallop, check out action RPG Torchlight. Sophisticated it is not, with cartoon-style graphics, over-the-top monsters and end-of-level bosses a-plenty, but it rattles along at an enjoyable pace. While dedicated fans of the genre might bemoan the standard cutout- and-keep characters, the price – and the fact that there’s a handy netbook mode – makes for an attractive package.
