Wario’s back, but initially it looks like he’s meaner than ever, giving us just 90 minigames to play with. Boo hiss! But WarioWare: DIY is, as its title suggests, about doing it yourself. Not just playing the games, but actually creating them. The real fun here is making games – including graphics and music – rather than playing them, and if you’re willing to put in some time and patience, this approach to home-grown gaming is a rewarding one. A few DSi-specific capabilities would have been nice, but it’s not a DIY dealbreaker.
