Hamsters: better late than never?

As this year’s Christmas must-have, the Go Go Hamster has had a rollercoaster ride.

Sold out at the original price, the rodents are changing hands at inflated prices. Unfounded rumours of faulty parts have abounded. But if you haven’t managed to catch one of the critters, you just need to wait until spring, when Activision will be launching a videogame version of them. But the question is, by then, will anybody care or will the hamsters have jumped the shark?
