Grand Theft Auto modders have been getting pretty inventive of late, turning monkeys into bodyguards and making humpback whales spontaneously fall from the skies.

The latest mod is the most ridiculous and wonderful yet though, turning sports cars into bullets.

Vehicle Cannon Mod 1.0 is now available over at GTA5-mods.com, alongside the usual warnings of potential Rockstar Club bans.

Rockstar are engaged in a constant battle with users exploiting the game's code for sheer silliness, with some gamers understanding the need for keeping the online game under control and others thinking the developer is simply putting rules on fun.

GTA V recently came out on PC, traditionally the best medium through which to mod games.
