Pokemon Sun and Moon E3 trailer: Fans think new creature Yungoos looks remarkably like Donald Trump
A new 'mythical' Pokemon was also revealed
Earlier on this year, Nintendo announced two new Pokemon games, titled Sun and Moon. Even since, fans have been eagerly awaiting each new announcement regarding the franchise.
So far, we’ve officially been introduced to the two legendaries and three starters, but at E3, the company behind the game treated us to a first-look at multiple new Pokemon.
Joining Rowlett, Litten and Popplio on the new island of Alola will be Pikipek (normal/flying), Yungoos (normal), Grubbin (bug), and the mythical Pokemon Megarna (steel/fairy).
Other than the ‘mythical’ Pokemon, the other three seem like pretty standard additions to the series, Pikiepek being this generation's Pidgy, Yungoos sharing similarities with Furret, and Grubbin seeming very much like Caterpie.
Fans have picked up on Yungoos in particular, noting how it looks like a certain US Presidential candidate: Donald Trump. The memes have already started.
Pokemon Sun and Moon are out on Nintendo 3DS and 2DS on the 23 November. Meanwhile, at E3, Nintendo also revealed new footage of the Wii U and NX’s Legend of Zelda game.
