Sony has announced Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time, an all-new entry into their action-adventure Sly Cooper franchise, which will be available on PS3 and PS Vita.

Developed by Sanzaru Games, the team behind The Sly Collection for PS3, the game is set to take advantage of the “Cross-Save” function between PS Vita and PS3. The cloud-based saving facility allows players to seamlessly transition from gaming at home to on to go by saving the game on one console and resuming from exactly where they left off on another.

The game also makes full use of the PS Vita’s gyro controls allowing players to tilt and steer their way through the journey, while the presence of dual-analogue sticks on-board the handheld of course mean that there’s no control deficit across either format.

Thieves in Time sees Sly Cooper, a sneaky raccoon descendant of a long line of master thieves, embark on another mischievous journey with his loyal friends Murray and Bentley. The adventure will take players on a journey through time and across the globe packed with puzzles as player look to restore the secrets of the Cooper family.
