For players who were initially disappointed by the lack of content available in Star Wars: Battlefront, the recent splurge of downloadable content has been much appreciated.

First there was last year’s Battle of Jakku, soon followed by Outer Rim - a pack that introduced Jabba the Hut to the game. Now, Bespin is set to reach consoles this summer and with it comes a very cool playable character.

As Cloud City is located in Bespin, it should come as no surprise to find out Lando Calrissian is the new hero, while Denger - a bounty hunter seen alongside Bobo Fett in the original trilogy - will be the villain.

The expansion will also see four new maps added to the game, all based on the floating city, including one based around the carbonate chambers.

Also teased by EA DICE was the possibility of an expanded offline mode, saying in a press release: “We also have a couple of surprises in store that we know our fans have been looking for, especially those who have been clamouring for ways to have more options to enjoy Star Wars Battlefront offline. More to come soon.”

On May the 4th - Star Wars day - EA reportedly have some surprises planned for players, yet it is unknown what this means.

Meanwhile, the Star Wars cinematic universe is slowly moving on, with Disney reportedly finding their young Han Solo.
