Electronic Arts' 'Fifa' football game series has been causing sweary arguments between men and women who should know better for the best part of 20 years. However, the most severe punishment previously available to angry gamers was a clip around the ear from your fellow players.

But now with online gaming so speedy, players are able to take out their anger on others around the globe. But the latest instalment of the franchise may put an end to 'Fifa'-based effing and jeffing for good. A feature in the game, which is due out in late September, can recognise when players swear on their online-play microphones. This then makes the game's referees behave more strictly.

If only we had something as effective in the Premier League.
