In pictures: The stars who broke the 'no buttocks, breasts or thongs' rules at the Grammys
Last week it was reported that Grammy attendees were banned from exposing nipples, breasts and buttocks.
Television channel CBS issued the stern “wardrobe advisory”, warning that those who flouted the rules risked not appearing on television.
Luckily, no star revealed banned “visible ‘puffy’ skin in the genital region". Even Beyonce, fresh from her crotch-thrusting Super Bowl appearance played it down in black trousers and a high-neck sculpted top.
Katy Perry seemed to show a total disregard for hiding her cleavage, and wore a mint green dress with a strategically placed cut-out hole.
Actress Jenna Jameson wore a see-through shimmery gown displaying both “buttock crack and buttock curve”, and possibly also a thong, which were specifically banned in the memo.
J Lo managed to get around the advisory by revealing an inordinate amount of leg, in an elegant off-the-shoulder-off-the-thigh black number.
Rihanna, who is known for her raunchy outfits, surprisingly kept to the rules. The "S&M" singer arrived in a floor-length red gown and took to the stage in another long black dress with a minimal amount of flesh on show.
