LA's famous Sunset Strip launches all-access pass

The hotels along the 1.6-mile stretch of the famed Sunset Strip will offer guests an exclusive VIP Pass for an all-access admittance to clubs and live venues in West Hollywood.

Guests at participating hotels in this non-stop party section of Los Angeles can partake in the The Strip's legendary hot spots for entertainment at such destinations as The Comedy Store, Key Club, House of Blues, The Roxy Theatre, Viper Room, and Whisky A Go-Go.

It allows visitors to experience the area's nightlife as if they are "on the list," without standing in line or paying a cover charge. The pass is valid during the length of the stay.

The hotels providing the All-Access VIP Pass are both boutique and high-rise chains including the Andaz West Hollywood, The Grafton, The London West Hollywood, Mondrian, The Standard Hollywood, Sunset Plaza, and Sunset Marquis.

The Sunset Strip Business Association believes it's the only such pass being supplied in major cities. In addition, guests can also use the pools of hotels in the program.

The VIP Pass launches for six months starting March 8, in time for Spring Break.
