The comedian at the centre of the controversy surrounding Channel 4’s Big Fat Quiz of the Year, Jack Whitehall, has had jokes deemed “sick” and “offensive” by some who complained to Ofcom.

He was even reportedly called to stand down as presenter of the upcoming National Television Awards after his remarks - although the Awards refuted these claims.

Lewd and sexual jokes about the Royal Family, President Obama and Usain Bolt were said by some to have simply gone too far, while others said they were above board.

Our Independent Voices poll found 95% of readers didn't think jokes featured in the Big Fat Quiz Of The Year were too much, but while the debate rages on, we count down the top ten comedians who were told they took it too far...
