Dinny Hall, best known for her modern simplicity, has a gorgeous selection of his and hers rings (right). Wright and Teague have rings with inscriptions, including "Now I know what love is", in Latin, and "Forever and ever", and "Love, honesty and truth", in English (right). All in 18-carat gold, platinum or white gold. Plain, beaten bands start from pounds 280; inscribed rings start from pounds 310, for her and pounds 600 for him. Solange Azagury-Partridge makes some of the most fabulous rings around. An 18-carat heart ring with rubies that splits into two costs pounds 5,800. Other ideas include setting your partner's birth stone on the inside of a ring, so you are always in touch. For aspiring Holly Golightlys, Tiffany is the only place to shop. Wedding rings start at pounds 160 for 18-carat gold and pounds 300 for platinum. All rings are available in pairs.
