Where are Britain's most romantic streets?
Brighton and Manchester offer the best odds of finding love on Valentine's Day
The likeliest place to find a soulmate in England is Brighton, according to special Valentine's Day research by Zoopla.
The property portal says Brighton offers the best combination of ‘singles seeking property’ and unmarried adults, while Londoners are most likely to find a partner in Croydon (and least likely in Isleworth).
Zoopla.co.uk analysed data from across the country to find the areas with the highest proportion of single adults and the largest number of property enquiries for studios and one-bedroom flats, typically popular among people who are single.
Brighton (average asking price for a studio/one-bed flat £168,616) heads the list, with Manchester a close second (average asking price £101,348).
Conversely, the combination of a very low proportion of single adults and lower interest in studio and one-bedroom flats suggests that Woking and Luton could provide disappointing locations for Valentine's hopefuls.
Zoopla has also looked at the most valuable Valentine streets in the country. Those with Love or Kissing in the name are among the priciest, with average property values of £305,338 and £287,015 respectively.
