Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez may be the next recipient of a Queer Eye makeover after accepting an offer from Bobby Berk to style her office.

On Monday, Berk, who stars on the Netflix show as the interior design expert, let the Congresswoman know he was in DC and offered her the chance to put him "to work".

“Hey AOC! I’m in DC all week girl! Put me to work! 'Have time… will work for democracy!'" the Queer Eye host wrote on Twitter.

Ms Ocasio-Cortez appeared keen in her response to Berk’s offer - as she explained she has not had a chance to decorate her office despite being sworn in in January.

“Swing by our office!” the Democratic representative of New York’s 14th congressional district wrote. “We’ve barely had time to hang anything up, three of my staffers are expecting babies, and we’ve got a bach pad/warehouse type situation out here. SOS!”

The US Congresswoman then added: “The good news is that people are leaving a rainbow of positive post-its on our wall so that’s cute.”

“Yay! Would love to!” Berk responded to the Congresswoman.

The exchange, which received thousands of likes on Twitter, has people excited for the meeting.

“Please take pictures,” one person wrote.

Another said: “I would pay a lot to see this episode!”

“This interaction is everything good about Twitter in one tweet,” someone else wrote.

In February, Ms Ocasio-Cortez shared a photo of the post-it wall outside her office on Capitol Hill with her Twitter followers, before it had to be moved inside.

“RIP our post-it wall,” she wrote at the time. “We were told it had to be taken down… so we moved it inside instead.”
