At the Club Face: Fresh 'n' Funky
t's back! Following a spell of refurbishment F'n'F returns. (Many missed the vibe so much that they turned up while the club was still being refurbished.)
The new interior was commisioned so that the Hanover would look bright and beautiful when Channel 5 start shooting their alternative to Top of the Pops there - should be interesting.
F'n'F is still the place to visit for phat beats. The crowd here are largely hip-hop/ R 'n' B heads and turn up in droves for large slices of bass and drums.
There's no dress code, but the crowd are slickly dressed, albeit in urban fashions. Everybody hits the dancefloor hard at this gig so wallflowers are advised to stay away.
DJ Brian Norman and friends manage to keep everybody happy. Everything gets a turn on the Technics - one minute it's slick soul before flipping to
hardcore rap.
