Justin Bieber has revealed he was recently baptised with his wife, Hailey Bieber, calling it “one of most special moments of my life”.

On Wednesday, the singer shared a series of photographs from the occasion on Instagram.

The photos show Justin and Hailey getting baptised in a lake.

Hailey appeared to be wearing a yellow bikini while Justin wore just a pair of cargo shorts.

“The moment @haileybieber my wife and I got baptized together!” Justin wrote in the caption.

“This was one of most special moments of my life,” he added.

“Confessing our love and trust in Jesus publicly with our friends and family.”

The musician’s post has garnered more than 3.3 million likes and thousands of comments from fans.

Both Justin and Hailey have been outspoken in the past about how their Christian faith impacts their lives.

Last year, the duo revealed that they abstained from sex until their marriage.

The couple first met in 2009 and enjoyed an on/off relationship for several years before announcing their engagement in July 2018.

The pair officially revealed they were married on Instagram in November 2018.

On the subject of sex, the couple said that they have no regrets about their decision to remain celibate but agreed that marriage is not a “magical fantasy”.

“God doesn’t ask us not to have sex for him because he wants rules and stuff,” Bieber told Vogue in February 2019.

“He’s like, ‘I’m trying to protect you from hurt and pain’.

“I think sex can cause a lot of pain. Sometimes people have sex because they don’t feel good enough. Because they lack self-worth. Women do that, and guys do that.”
