Remember that Oscars selfie from 2014?

The one that Ellen DeGeneres took featuring Jared Leto, Jennifer Lawrence, Channing Tatum, Meryl Streep, Julia Roberts, Kevin Spacey, Bradley Cooper, Brad Pitt, Lupita Nyong'O and Angelina Jolie?

Well, there’s now a new contender for the most epic selfie ever taken during the Oscars and it is nothing short of legendary.

On Tuesday, Bombshell star Charlize Theron shared a photo on Instagram and Twitter that was taken at the 92nd Academy Awards alongside the caption: “Good company. #Oscars2020.”

The star-studded image serves as a who’s who of Hollywood, featuring a host of famous faces such as Tom Hanks, Rita Wilson, Salma Hayek, Regina King and Rami Malek, as well as Theron’s plus-one for the evening, her mother.

The photo also includes a number of other A-listers who have been unwittingly included in the snapshot, including Keanu Reeves, Mahershala Ali, Greta Gerwig, Noah Baumbach and Quentin Tarantino.

So far, the post has received more than 526,000 likes on Instagram and 21,000 on Twitter, with hundreds of followers commenting on the incredible image.

“Truly an epic selfie work of art! You nailed it!!” one person wrote.

Another added: “Let me just say this is ICONIC”.

While a third person commented: “Those people in the back clearly are jealous of the fun you're all having in the photo.”

Theron’s selfie follows in the footsteps of DeGeneres whose celebrity-filled photo became the most-retweeted tweet of all time.

The chat show host headed into the audience during the ceremony and whipped out her smartphone, passing it to Cooper as she gathered as many celebrity guests to assemble behind her.

The picture attracted 80,000 retweets in three minutes and over one million in less than an hour.

“We crashed Twitter,” DeGeneres later commented during the ceremony.

As of now, the post has more than three million retweets and more than two million likes.
