City 'losing appeal' as HQ

Chief executives from 40 of London's leading companies fear it is losing its attraction as a European head office location. The London Factor, an Institute for Metropolitan Studies report, says the city relies too much on its reputation.

Sir Alan Greengross, its chairman, said London must identify the skills needed by its future workforce and invest in transport, power, water supplies and sewerage.
