Miley Cyrus has spoken out the breakdown of her marriage, vehemently denying cheating was the reason she and Liam Hemsworth split.

On Thursday, the "Wrecking Ball" singer shared a series of posts on Twitter to shut down any claims regarding alleged infidelity, adding that there were “NO secrets to uncover”.

Cyrus began the thread by explaining she understands that living her life in the public eye means she must be transparent with her fans but that she “cannot accept” being told she is a liar.

“I have nothing to hide,” Cyrus wrote.

The 26-year-old went on to list some of the mistakes she has made over the years, including cheating in relationships when she was younger and swinging on a wrecking ball naked.

“There are probably more nudes of me on the internet than maybe any woman in history,” Cyrus added.

However, the former Disney star explained that despite her mistakes, she was completely committed to her relationship with Hemsworth.

“There are NO secrets to uncover here. I've learned from every experience in my life. I'm not perfect, I don't want to be, it's boring. I've grown up in front of you, but the bottom line is, I HAVE GROWN UP,” Cyrus wrote.

“I can admit to a lot of things but I refuse to admit that my marriage ended because of cheating. Liam and I have been together for a decade. I've said it before and it remains true, I love Liam and always will.”

The "We Can’t Stop" singer concluded the lengthy Twitter thread by saying she made a “healthy decision to leave a previous life behind” and that she is the “healthiest and happiest” she has been in a long time.

“You can say I'm a twerking, foul-mouthed hillbilly but I am not a liar,” Cyrus wrote.

“I am proud to say, I am simply in a different place from where i was when I was a younger.”

Earlier this month, claims were made that Cyrus had cheated on Hemsworth with Kaitlynn Carter, after photos of them kissing appeared on social media.

The rant comes just days after Cyrus and Hemsworth announced they would be separating.

The singer’s representative issued a statement confirming the news on 10 August, urging fans to “respect their process”.

“Liam and Miley have agreed to separate at this time,” the representative told PEOPLE.

“Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what’s best while they both focus on themselves and careers.

“They still remain dedicated parents to all of their animals they share while lovingly taking this time apart. Please respect their process and privacy.”

Earlier this week, Hemsworth filed for divorce from his wife citing “irreconcilable differences”.

The couple, who had been married for seven months, reportedly have a prenuptial agreement.
