"King of the Bs" and "low-budget auteur" are just a few ways to describe the versatile film- maker Edgar G Ulmer (1904-1972).

The Scottish Screen Edinburgh International Film Festival provides a rare opportunity to view the work of this most cult, camp and kitsch of B-movie makers.

The first 20 readers to call the Festival hotline on 0131-229 2550 today, quoting this Eye offer and leaving a daytime phone no, will each win a voucher redeemable for two tickets to any one of the following screenings:

Detour (screening 11 and 13 Aug), The Black Cat (12 and 14 Aug) The Daughter of Dr Jekyll (13 Aug), The Naked Dawn (13 Aug), The Amazing Transparent Man (14 Aug), Bluebeard (14 and 18 Aug), The Man From Planet X (15 Aug) Babes In Bagdad (16 Aug), Girls In Chains (18 Aug) Beyond The Time Barrier (22 Aug).

The Edinburgh International Film Festival runs from 10 to 24 Aug. Winners will be contacted by 11 Aug.

We have 10 pairs of tickets on offer for 16 and 17 August for these three Fringe shows:

David Benson's Think No Evil of Us: My Life With Kenneth Williams; Poulter and Duff's A-Z of Taboo (left); and manic, witty, camp comic Graham Norton.

All these productions can be seen until 30 August at Edinburgh's Assembly Rooms. To enter, send your details, by 13 August, to: Eye/ Fringe Offer, 2nd Floor, Piccadilly Mansions, 1 Shaftesbury Avenue, London W1V 7RL. Winners can collect their tickets from the Assembly Rooms' box office (0131-226 2428).
