Emma Willis debuts hair transformation at the National Television Awards
The new look has proved a hit with fans
Former Big Brother presenter Emma Willis has followed in the footsteps of stars such as Dua Lipa and Selena Gomez by debuting a new, peroxide blonde hairstyle.
The 42-year-old initially ditched her trademark brunette locks for a golden blonde makeover in December.
However, Willis showcased an even lighter look on the red carpet at last night’s National Television Awards.
The transformation came courtesy of Willis’ hairstylist, Louis Byrne, who styled the presenter’s newly dyed tresses in her trademark signature quiff.
Fans were quick to notice the mother-of-three’s lightened locks, with many saying how much they loved her new look on social media.
“You looked absolutely stunning on the NTA tonight Emma . Loving the new hair colour” one person wrote.
Another commented: “LOVE LOVE LOVE Emma’s hair this colour!”
A third person wrote: “Wow!!! @emmawillisofficial you are rocking this blonde!”
Willis finished her red carpet look with a show-stopping gown that featured on-trend shoulder pads, a high neckline and cape-like sleeves.
Meanwhile, her slicked back hair meant she was able to showcase a pair of glamorous earrings, wearing a statement diamond ear cuff and simple stud combination.
Regarded as one of the biggest award ceremonies of the year in the UK, the red carpet at this year’s National Television Awards did not disappoint.
While a number of stars chose to keep things classic with traditional black gowns, others used the occasion to inject a little colour into an otherwise dreary January evening.
Pink was a standout choice for many including This Morning presenter Holly Willoughby who opted for a pink dress adorned with black polka dots.
Similarly, singer Pixie Lott wore a two-toned pink and red trouser suit, while The Only Way Is Essex star Danielle Armstrong opted for a fuchsia floor-length number.
