The American Music Awards (or AMAs as they are more commonly known) took place last night in Los Angeles. It's a major event on the music calendar and attracted a guestlist of stars from the worlds of music, film, TV and fashion.
As is usually the case with music awards - as opposed to movie awards - the dress code is slightly more relaxed which more often than not translates to much weirder, more see-through and alot of flesh flashing.
Last night's AMAs were no different.
Jennifer Lopez was the presenter for the evening and as the job description dictates opted for a staggering number of costume changes - from oversized ball gowns, to see-through jumpsuits and even a tribal inspired catsuit.
Notable mention to the Jenner sisters and Gigi Hadid who chose a succession revealing gowns, each more daring than the last - think chainmail, leather and no underwear.
There were few who really got the look right but one of those included Selena Gomez who looked sleek in a red glittering Givenchy gown.
More bizarre outings came from Gwen Stefani whose bat-like ensemble looked like it might have been leftover from Halloween.
Jenny McCarthy's Versace look could have been taken straight off the set of Austin Powers, whilst singer/songwriter Z Lala is definitely going for Lady Gaga's crown in the strange dressed category.
