Throughout a music career spanning more than two decades, Beyoncé Knowles-Carter has continually proven herself as one of the greatest performers of all time.

The Lemonade singer is a woman of many talents, boasting an impressive vocal range, unparalleled dance moves and a strong affinity for fashion.

The star has showcased a number of luxury fashion designers on multiple occasions over the years, such as when she wore a sheer, embellished Givenchy dress to the 2015 Met Gala and when she was styled to look like a goddess in a gold Peter Dundas gown at the 2017 Grammy Awards.

As Beyoncé celebrates her 38th birthday on Wednesday 4 September, we have taken a look back at some of her boldest and most memorable style moments.

It appears that Beyoncé has passed on her passion for fashion to her daughter, seven-year-old Blue Ivy Carter.

In July, the mother-daughter duo attended the Hollywood premiere for the Disney live-action remake of The Lion King, in which Beyoncé voices the lion Nala.

The pair wore matching Alexander McQueen outfits to the event, Beyonce in a striking beaded gown and Blue Ivy in an embellished black blazer.

During the London premiere for the film, which took place a few days prior, Beyoncé wore a custom gold pleated gown by Vietnamese designer Cong Tri.

The star and her husband, rapper Jay-Z, were introduced to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex at the event.

Beyoncé embraced the duchess as they met, describing the Sussexes' son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, as "so beautiful", and telling Meghan that she and Jay-Z "love" the royal couple.
