'Double jeans’ with two waistbands that cost £521 have sold out
We're just as confused as you are

In this age of excessive consumerism, it was only a matter of time until some greedy fashionista posed the question: why wear one pair of jeans when you could wear two?
British designer Natasha Zinko has fully embraced this concept by releasing a pair of high waist double jeans, retailing at $695 (£521) on Shopbop.
Though the design is rather odd – it literally looks like a five-year-old attacked his mother’s wardrobe with a pair of scissors and some gnarly needlework – the jeans have proven extremely popular.
So popular in fact, that they’ve sold out.
They may be strange, but they’re also arguably a sartorial storage saviour, with a total of seven pockets.
Yes, seven – more than enough to store the few pennies you’ll have left after splashing out on these highly-priced jeans.

Described as featuring “layered waistbands” the wide-leg denim jeans boast a “modern high-low profile.”
Does this mean they’re a little bit Kardashian, meddled with a sprinkling of a more illusive Daniel Day-Lewis type?
Whilst the profile perpetuated by this unique garment remains ambivalent, one thing is clear: people are confused as to just who is willing to drop £512 on what might as well be a school science project gone awry.
Obviously, the Twittersphere has taken to poking fun at the bizarre jeans.
“In an age of weird jeans, these are quite simply the weirdest jeans I have ever seen,” tweeted Laura Bennett.
“Can we blame Trump?” responded one user.
“With so much insanity in the world, could the fashion industry leave jeans alone, please? #riciculous #notfashion,” another added.
For the avant-garde shoppers amongst you, fear not, as a variation of the double jeans are available to buy from US retailer, Kirna Zabête for $980 (£725). Bargain.
