It’s every young girl’s dream to look like a real-life princess on their wedding day, but these Disney-inspired gowns might have taken that wish a bit too literally.

Bridal retailer Alfred Angelo has launched a new capsule collection of seven wedding dresses named Disney Fairy Tale Bridal, inspired by iconic princesses, from Frozen’s Elsa, to Cinderella, Ariel and Jasmine - all available in US size 6-26.

The collection aims to please all Disney fans with a variety of designs, ranging from the classic white gown, to an embellished purple jumpsuit (which pays homage to Aladdin’s princess).

The website welcomes shoppers to the new collection with the message “Imagine happily ever after…”. Yeah, like a true Cinderella story.

And if you want to take it to the next level, there’s a “Cinderella Limited Edition” wedding dress, which is available in “selected locations only”. It’s a long-sleeved organza ivory gown with floral embroidery, crystal beading and sequin – inspired by the live-action fairy tale which premiered earlier this year. At least it doesn’t come with a matching crown.

Now, even if you aren’t a Disney fan, you’ve probably heard of Frozen, the sixth highest-grossing film of all time. Well, now you, too, can channel your inner Elsa, and whether your wedding day plans involve building a snowman or not, you’ll be able to wear a gown inspired by the animated character.

The dress was revealed last year with a sketch featuring a design based on the dress worn by the princess in the film’s iconic “Let It Go” scene. But it has now been released alongside a collection of Disney-inspired gowns.

Alternatively, you might be thinking of a location close to the ocean. Then, you can channel The Little Mermaid’s Ariel with a blue strapless embroidered gown.

Alfred Angelo's Disney-inspired wedding gowns cost $1,399 (approx £890) and all the designs are also available in white and ivory.

The question is, would you wear a wedding dress inspired by Disney’s princesses?
