Dress Code: Vivia Ferragamo, designer
What are you wearing right now?
Nike tracksuit trousers and an American Apparel T-shirt – I'm at home working on my computer.
Who's your style icon?
I do like the way Kate Moss puts clothes together. It's very fresh and light-hearted. I also like Brigitte Bardot's style – the thing they have in common is that they don't style their hair too much. It's a bit scruffy – not too groomed.
What can't you live without?
My Ugg boots! Twelve years ago I was backpacking in Australia, and I saw these boots and thought, 'how amazing, they feel like being barefoot'. Then I got back to Florence and I could see everyone looking at me, but about five years ago everyone started wearing them. Of course I only wear my own designs for going out.
Describe the best outfit you have ever worn?
One of my knitted dresses: a half-leather, half-jersey style. They're sexy but fun.
What's in your wardrobe?
I used to love buying vintage Valentino and YSL, and I also have clothes by Alberta Ferretti, who is very romantic, Oscar de la Renta and Balenciaga. I tend towards more muted shades, such as aubergine.
What's in your make-up bag?
Chanel Teint Innocence foundation, Mac lustre lipstick in Hug Me, Becca blusher and Dior concealer.
If you could live in any century, style-wise which would it be?
I love the colours and shapes of the 1970s, the shoes were so fun.
How often do you look in the mirror?
Quite a lot, but it's by accident. My house is full of mirrors because they light up the rooms.
Any guilty pleasures / fashion confessions you want to share?
I used to have an Ungaro snakeskin jacket and trousers that I wore with snakeskin shoes when I was about 20. I knew it was dodgy, but I wore it anyway.
