MTV Awards 2015: who wore what on the red carpet

From Hailee Steinfeld to Jennifer Lopez and Cara Delevinge, a star-studded red carpet sees Hollywood on their best jovial attires

The awards season might be over but on Sunday the world had the chance to see again their favourite stars parading on the red carpet again.

In Britain, the Olivier Awards saw an array of home-grown talent in their best attires, but in American, the MTV Movie Awards got together the best of Hollywood for yet another films celebration in Los Angeles.

The ceremony honours blockbuster favourites over crucially acclaimed media, awarding everything from The Fault in Our Stars as the Movie of the Year, to Bradley Cooper with the Best Male Performance for his role in American Sniper.

As the event is not black tie like the Academy Awards, the stars attended in a variety of more casual outfits and bright colours. Synced with MTV’s spirit, the star-studded red carpet saw a variety of elegant, yet jovial looks on celebrities from Scarlett Johansson to Jennifer Lopez and Cara Delevingne.

Lopez, for example, risked it all in a plunging black mini-dress by Versace, teamed up with statement gold jewellery and matching clutch.

Scarlett Johansson made a bold statement in a long-sleeved coral jumpsuit, teamed up with colourful sandals, and Cara Delevingne, who also presented alongside actor and musician Nat Wolff, wore a dress by Reem Acra, teamed up with Saint Laurent heels.
