Liam Payne has paid homage to a nude Kate Moss photo shoot with Turkish fashion photographer Mert Alas.

On Wednesday, Alas shared the black-and-white photograph of Payne on Instagram.

In the image, the singer sits nude on a director's chair that has the photographer's name emblazoned in cursive on the backrest.

Posing for the photograph on a balcony in the sun, the fully-naked Payne sits with his back to the camera and is turning to look down the lens.

The image is a recreation of a near-identical one of Moss captured by Alas in April. In the original photograph, Moss has her legs crossed and is wearing nothing but a pair of black stilettos and smoking a cigarette.

Alas teased that the image taken of Payne may be part of an upcoming project, sharing the photograph alongside the hashtag "#comingsoon".

Moss has collaborated with Alas and his photography partner Marcus Piggott on several occasions, most recently for a Giorgio Armani campaign in June.

Several Instagram users praised Alas over his latest photograph of Payne.

"You're doing god's work @mertalas," one person commented.

"Please tell me there are more of these," another remarked.

Mert and Marcus recently photographed Payne for the new Hugo x Liam Payne capsule collection, which was launched during Berlin Fashion Week earlier this month.

In June, the singer was announced as the first global brand ambassador for Hugo Boss.

Payne shared a post on Instagram announcing the news, stating: "I'm excited to be the new face of Hugo and I can't wait to show you what we've been working on."
