While the actual Met Gala is not a televised event, live coverage from the red carpet will be available from multiple outlets on Monday 6 May.
E! will be broadcasting live from the red carpet from, while Entertainment Tonight will also be livestreaming arrivals.
The guests in attendance at the Met Gala, all of whom are carefully chosen by Wintour, will be expected to adhere to a certain set of rules throughout the night.
Last year, it was announced that the Met Gala had decreed a new age restriction, disallowing anyone under the age of 18 from attending.
Furthermore, despite several celebrities' proclivity for smoking in the bathrooms at the Metropolitan Museum of Art during the evening's festivities, this has been heavily frowned upon in the past.
