New wristband tells you when you've had enough sun

It is clear that exposing your skin to the sun after an especially grim winter puts you at risk, but how much exactly is too much? When should you reapply your sunscreen, and when should you call it quits?

Well, now there's a wristband to help you out with that. A company called UVSunSense has launched the monitoring bracelets that - once covered with the sunscreen you're using - will change color when it's time for more protection and change again when you should get out of the sun.

The new product, which seems especially suitable for children and adults with particularly fair skin, is "engineered to be used in conjunction with a sunscreen of SPF 15 or higher to alert you to potential excessive exposure as you work or play in the sun," the brand states.

A pack of seven retails for $7.98 online.
