Australian bikini brand releases European campaign starring Victoria's Secret 'Angel'
As first announced this summer, Australian model Jess Hart is the new face and body of Australian brand Seafolly's swimwear summer range.
According to the label's press office, the collection is all about prints, structure and embellishments, and styles will come in vibrant colors ranging from purple to green and orange. Seafolly is also adding a few dresses and kaftans next summer to transform the 'beach babe' into a 'beach bar' look.
Gap-toothed beauty Jess Hart follows in the footsteps of fellow Victoria's Secret models and Australians Miranda Kerr and Kristy Hinze as a model for the label.
Hart is based in New York and has previously landed a Sports Illustrated as well as a Vogue cover, a rare combination since the first tends to be more 'commercial' while the other falls into the 'high-fashion' category. However, a recent trend sees more and more couture models venture into the world of pin-up (such as Chanel Iman's work for Victoria's Secret) and vice versa (Miranda Kerr in V Magazine).
Seafolly is one of the leading bikini brands in Australia (and worldwide). According to locals, surfer labels remain even more popular however, with the most successful ones including Rusty, Quiksilver, Roxy and the more sophisticated Jets.
Seafolly swimwear is available in international stores and at seafolly.com, with prices ranging from around $50 to $100 per piece.
