Bleached eyebrows, gold turbans and no flat shoes: Marc Jacobs fashion week party dress code
Riding in on a white horse: is this the most bizarre dress code?

Fashion week is nearly upon us; in a matter of weeks the fashion industry will begin it's bi-annual jaunt around the world, but no fashion week would be complete without a party or two.
Before a single model has set foot on the catwalk Marc Jacobs is already making news; Yahoo Style posted the dress code description for a New York Fashion week party hosted by the designer and it's by no means low-key.
The full text of the dress code, sent in all capital letters is below:
"STRICT DRESS TO KILL CODE WILL BE ENFORCED: FUR COATS OVER LINGERIE, LIP GLOSS, JERRY HALL SIDE-SWEPT HAIR, SEQUINS, GOLD LAMÉ TURBANS, PATTI HEARST SYMBIONESE LIBERATION ARMY GEAR, ROGUE, ROLLERINA CHIC, SHEER HAREM PANTS, MINI SKIRTS AND MUSCULAR LEGS, PLATINUM RECORDS AS HEAD GEAR, SEQUINS, GRACE JONES BUTCH REALNESS, GLOSS-Y SKIN, BLEACHED EYEBROWS, SLITS, RIDING IN ON A WHITE HORSE, SEQUINS, SKY HIGH STILETTOS, MIRRORED AVIATORS, METAL MESH, COWL NECKLINE HALTERS, OR EYES OF LAURA MARS CHIC. Fashion week all too often inspires outfit panic amongst its attendees, no doubt this season will be no different, after all white horses and platinum records are not exactly easy to come by.....
