Designer collaborations are ten-a-penny these days and whilst some brands pump them out on an almost weekly basis, this one from NARS is a keeper.

Christopher Kane is the golden boy of British fashion; his bi-annual show is the highlight of London Fashion Week - so his very first makeup collection is naturally cause for some excitement.

NARS has collaborated with the designer on his shows since 2012, making it the obvious choice for a foray into the world of beauty.

For Summer 2015 Kane introduces his first collection for the brand - NEONEUTRAL. As the name suggests its a collection of opposing shades in neon and nude.

The range consists of 10 pieces a full line of eyeshadows, blushes, Illuminating Multiples and lip glosses to help you get that Christopher Kane look.

Glosses come in bright pinks and oranges with a softer rosy shade. Eyeshadows in a signature shade of purple for the Scottish designer. While blushes vary from fuschia to coral and beige.

Yesterday the launch got underway with a Twitter campaign that saw users encouraged to tweet using the hashtag #NARSChristopherKaneUK to strike at an orb which when finally broken rewarded the Twitter user with the full makeup collection plus an accessory from the Kane mainline spring collection.

The Christopher Kane for NARS Collection will launch in the UK exclusive to Selfridges and the Christopher Kane Mount Street Flagship store on 1st May 2015 before becoming available on NARSCosmetics.co.uk on 15th May 2015 and nationwide on 1st June 2015.
